How to design a custom embroideries fabric to create a unique design?
I started out by making the pattern out of a square of cotton fabric, but it turned out to be too easy.
Instead, I decided to create my own design using a fabric fabricator like JB Designs.
Once I had my fabric fabric, I took the time to make it a bit more elaborate.
It was very time consuming to make the embroideried pieces, but once I had them all lined up I was so happy I did!
I made a small number of pieces to get a feel for the process, but I would say that I was very impressed with how the whole thing turned out.
I did have some challenges that I hope to cover in future articles.
First, I really liked how the fabric was laid out.
It’s pretty much a rectangular shape with a little twist and a slight curve.
This gave me a lot of room to create shapes, and it’s the perfect way to show off my embroiderys fabric design.
The only issue I had was that the pattern did not stay in place for a long time, but this is something that I’m definitely working on fixing.
If I’m ever going to have the time, I’d like to have a way to make an embroideriest fabric that’s durable enough to withstand repeated uses and tear-outs.
My next post will cover how I was able to make a custom fabric that would make a unique piece, and I hope you guys are as excited as I am about this project.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this article, so please comment below or share the project with your friends!
